Cabinet and Millwork Installer

 

 

 

Job Summary

We’re seeking a skilled Cabinet and Millwork Installer to join our installation crew. This role involves installing fully custom cabinetry and millwork for both residential and commercial projects. Installers work in teams of two, primarily on local jobs with occasional out-of-state travel. This is a full-time position with steady hours and opportunities for advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install custom cabinetry, including kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, built-ins, and other millwork, according to project specifications and design plans.
  • Perform touch-up work including caulking, sanding, and minor finish adjustments
  • Ensure all installations meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and craftsmanship.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine proper installation procedures.
  • Measure and mark installation surfaces, ensuring that all cabinetry is level, plumb, and securely fastened.
  • Trim, adjust, and modify cabinetry on-site as needed to ensure a perfect fit.
  • Work closely with project managers, designers, and clients to address any concerns or adjustments during installation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized worksite and represent the company professionally
  • Load, transport, and lift heavy materials as needed
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and any issues that may arise.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during installation, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Travel locally with some out-of-state projects as needed

 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of cabinet or millwork installation experience
  • Proven experience as a cabinetry installer, carpenter, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and measuring devices.
  • Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
  • Physically able to lift 75+ lbs and work on feet for extended periods
  • Team player with a professional attitude

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Overtime may occasionally be required based on project needs

 

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour
